Clinical Psychosexual Assessment
Assessment for sexual health, compulsive behavior, trauma, and relationship repair.
A clinical psychosexual assessment can help clarify what is happening, what is driving the pattern, what risks or vulnerabilities need attention, and what kind of treatment plan is most appropriate.
RIS assessment is recovery-oriented
This page is for personal, relational, and treatment-planning assessment. It may be appropriate for concerns involving sexual compulsivity, sexual avoidance, betrayal, trauma, shame, intimacy, pornography, or sexual identity integration.
If there are pending charges, probation requirements, court orders, or forensic referral questions, the CALR™ Behavioral & Accountability Services pathway may be more appropriate.
Assessment may explore
- Sexual behavior patterns and consequences
- Trauma, attachment, shame, and emotional regulation
- Relationship and betrayal impact
- Recovery history and relapse vulnerabilities
- Risk and protective factors
- Treatment recommendations and next steps
Clear recommendations
The goal of assessment is not to label a person. The goal is to develop a clear clinical picture that supports responsible treatment planning, recovery, and relational repair.
